Herman Finkers keert terug op de planken

AMSTERDAM - Herman Finkers keert na een jarenlange pauze terug in het theater. De Twentse cabaretier gaf maandagavond de eerste zogenoemde inspeelvoorstelling van zijn nieuwe programma 'Na de pauze'.

Het ging om een 'blind date', waarbij het publiek niet wist wie er zou optreden. Vanaf de zomer is 'Na de pauze' in het hele land te zien.

Gouden Harp

De voorstelling was een proef. "Na afloop van de voorstelling ga ik met een biertje aan de bar zitten en ga ik bedenken of ik ermee verder ga of niet", zou Finkers voor het optreden hebben gezegd. De comeback is Finkers, die onlangs de Gouden Harp kreeg voor zijn gehele oeuvre, blijkbaar bevallen.

Data

De data voor de voorstellingen worden binnenkort bekendgemaakt. De officiële première vindt na een reeks try-outs plaats op 25 oktober, in de Schouwburg van Nijmegen. De kaartverkoop voor dit optreden begint op 8 mei.

Eind jaren zeventig begon de nu 52-jarige komiek met cabaret. Na negen succesvolle theaterprogramma's besloot hij in 2000 een pauze in te lassen.
