DENNIS BERGKAMP will almost certainly be offered a new one-year contract at Arsenal - if he accepts another pay-cut.
Dutch striker Bergkamp, 36, had his Highbury wages slashed dramatically when his contract ran out a year ago.
He got a new deal then on greatly reduced terms.
And he will have to do the same again if he wants another season at the club.
He claims he wants to stay and the fans made it clear how highly they rate him during last Wednesday's 7-0 demolition of Everton.
But manager Arsene Wenger will not be swayed by just one performance and if the 36 year-old does get a new deal it will be on a low basic wage, with high incentive bonuses based on appearances.
@ Jazzy : Davids verblijft momenteel in Nederland, Inter speelde vanavond en meneer is niet geblesseerd....
