Ander idee dat ik kreeg:
Hello Elikian,
Thanks again for running the MV Game! It was fun &
playing it had me paying more attention to pro tennis,
which has poor TV coverage here in the USA
I have a suggestion for the 2006 "season". Have the
season "points race" be similar to the actual players
points race. What I mean is that the 4 Slams, 9
Masters Series Events, & Master Cup are "mandatory"
events, meaning if you don't play you get no points
(or 80% of the worst MV player's points). Then for the
other tourneys, have a "best 5 results". This way
people short on time can miss a regular week while
still having a chance to challenge for the year points
race (like say Hewitt in real life). OTOH, there is
still incentive to play every week since one will get
a bigger budget by playing every week (like say
Davydenko in real life, a guy that plays 30 tourneys
almost every week).
What do you think?
Cheers
