Het zoontje van mijn baas, bij sommigen van jullie wel bekend, (Jan-Jaap Uiterwijk Winkel) heeft afgelopen week op het EK Doventennis in Roemenie een eervolle 4e plaats gehaald. Hij heeft zich hiermee geplaatst voor de Deaflympics in 2009 in Taipei.

Helaas verloor hij in de halve finale van de Hongaar Mathe Gabor (die moet ook wel challengers spelen, begreep ik).

Toch een mooie prestatie voor hem. Hij behoort wel tot de minst doven die er volgens mij rondlopen, maar daar wordt je wel op getest.
