The Grand Slam Committee has approved a new procedure, starting in Australia, for ordering the lucky losers. Procedure is as follows:
At the end of qualifying:
0, 1 or 2 lucky loser positions available
* The top 4 ranked losing players from the final round qualifying will be drawn at random for the top 4 positions
If Tursunov pulls out before the OOP is issued today
Then Montanes will replace Tursunov as Number 33 seed and LL would replace
Montanes
If a Top 16 seed pulled out
Then Wawrinka would move up to their place
Montanes would take Wawrinka's spot
LL would take Montanes' place
After Lunchtime Today
LL replaces any player directly and no seeds move
Gewoon 1 op 1 vervangen. Waw blijft dus staan...Melzer 1 van de weinige must-picks dus...
